現任臺北基礎設計中心執行董事，為許多港台公眾人物指定的台灣知名設計師。專業領域橫跨建築及室內空間、工業設計、傢俱產品設計、企業總體視覺形象設計規劃等。黃鵬霖以「先滿足機能，才考量風格呈現」為設計精神，其簡潔細緻的設計與始終如一的品質堅持，使其帶領的台北基礎設計中心團隊屢獲國際獎項，2007年成為華人地區Red Dot紅點空間類別設計獎首位得主，同年受邀成為德國 iF 設計論壇會員。近年接連拿下德國iF設計獎、日本GDA設計獎、美國IDEA設計獎，成為華人地區少數囊括國際四大設計獎的設計單位，此外也曾獲上海金外灘獎、現代裝飾國際傳媒獎、美國室內雜誌中文版年度封面人物、年度最強室內設計企業等獎項。

Represented as the Executive Director of Taipei Base Design Center (TBDC). Professional in architecture space plan/design, interior space plan/design, media/visual design/ restaurant management consultant and image planning/design consultant. Insistent upon ‘design is achieved by fulfilling the basic need and the style would come naturally’. TBDC is the first company which received the Red Dot Design Award (2007) around Chinese region and was invited to become the member of iF International Forum Design afterwards. Furthermore, it is one of quite less design companies in Asia that has won 4 highest global design award as well, which are Red Dot Design Award, IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards), G-Mark (Good Design Award) and iF award(International Forum Design award).
