2017 JCD大獎—獎項概要

● CATEGORIES FOR PARTICIPATION
Communication design in the commercial environment designs area includes the following six categories

1.Shopping Space:shops, fashion shops, Specialty stores, delicatessens, Showrooms etc.
2.Food Space:restaurants, cafes, bars, Food courts, Canteens etc.
3.Public Commercial Space:shopping centers, department stores, shopping malls, retail outlets, food markets etc.
4.Service & Entertainment Space:hotels, resort hotels, wedding salons, ceremony halls, hairdressers, spas, amusement centers, cinemas, gyms, fitness centers etc.
5.Culture & Communication Space:museums, theaters, concert halls, religious spaces, railway stations, airports, librarys, forum spaces etc.
6.Public Living Space:offices, studios, apartment public spaces, health senters, medical, institutions, educational institutions, warehouses,factorys etc.

The design space being entered should have been created between May 1, 2016 and April 30, 2017 and should currently be functioning.

● APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Designers who held a position of responsibility for the work. Such individuals may also apply to be judges.
(In that case, a judge applicant cannot vote for his/her own work.)

● REGISTRATION Only online registrations are being accepted. For application forms and further details,

● APPLICATION PERIOD 1 April -23 May, 2017

● ENTRY INFORMATION
A maximum of five photographs: file format jpg.
Floor Plan (Drawing): file format jpg / resolution size : Max W 800 pixel x H 600 pixel or W 450 pixel x H 600 pixel drawing, Display resolution 144 dpi, 144 pixel/inch: file format jpg.
Comments: Up to 100 words in English (150 characters in Japanese)
File size: Up to Max 400KB for each file.
　　Purpose of work: Up to 20 words (Category)
※Description on Design company name is prohibited.

● JUDGING PROCEDURES
Initial screening will be undertaken on the internet.
The most excellent commercial environment designs of the year will be selected from entries to be BEST 100.
Results will be announced on our website.
Final judging: Work selected as JCD BEST 100 will be placed on presentation panels.
* If the applicant does not submit the applicant does not respond to the communication from the second party, the applicant can not contact, even the applicant can not contact, even if it passes the primary screening, it will be be Declined.

● PRIZE JCD GRAND AWARD= 1 work (500,000 yen)
JCD GOLD AWARD= 5 works (100,000 yen)
JCD SILVER AWARD= 10works
JCD JURY’S AWARD= several works
JCD ROOKIE AWARD=several works
Special award= several works
(Results will be announced on our website)

The second referee will also be live on USTREAM.
