中華民國室內設計學會( CSID )在台灣努力推動台灣室內設計大獎( TID )，在前理事長王玉麟的努力推動之下，將TID大獎推向了另一個競賽高峰，以全然不同的高度加強台灣設計界的交流與合作，並擴大參與國際事務，讓新生代設計師能因為這樣的氛圍而奮起，中生代設計師則能承先啟後，共同將台灣的設計能量帶向國際。
